PEAK EVENTS, D1BASEBALL EXPAND MEDIA RIGHTS PARTNERSHIP FOR CLASSICS

ALLEN, TX. – Peak Events, LLC has agreed to terms with D1Baseball for the company to become the “Official Media Partner and Streaming Host Platform for the 2023 Frisco Classic and 2023 Karbach Round Rock Classic.”

This partnership will expand D1Baseball’s coverage of the two premier college baseball invitational tournaments, as well as give D1Baseball the exclusive right to host the broadcast stream of all six games at each individual tournament, exclusively on D1Baseball.com.

“We are thrilled to expand on our partnership with D1Baseball and are excited to bring an alternative viewing option to fans. Kyle, Kendall, Aaron and everyone at D1Baseball are some of the most respected voices across college baseball and D1Baseball.com has become the home for college baseball news and information so it just made sense for us,” said Nathan Wooldridge, Vice President of Peak Events, LLC.

As part of the broadcast partnership, Peak Events will retain the broadcast rights as a whole but will grant D1Baseball the exclusive right to host and distribute the broadcast feed publicly at D1baseball.com. Viewers will have the ability to view the games via different pay-per-view options including a discounted option for current D1baseball.com subscribers. More information including broadcast talent and purchase information is set to be announced at a later date.

“We are beyond thrilled to partner with Peak Events, and to become the exclusive streaming provider for the Karbach Round Rock Classic and Frisco College Baseball Classic in 2023. We launched D1Baseball.com many years ago with the idea of being the one-stop shop for all of college baseball. Now, we’re taking things a step further by offering live-streamed content on our site. We couldn’t be more excited about the potential this brings." said Kendall Rogers, Managing Editor of D1Baseball.com

This agreement extends a partnership that has remained intact since 2019 when D1Baseball became an Official Media Partner of the Frisco Classic and later expanded in 2020 with the addition of the Karbach Round Rock Classic. Since then, Peak Events and D1Baseball have continued to grow their relationship through event coverage, support, and Peak Events’ sponsorship of D1Baseball’s series of Fall Reports and other features.

“It is our goal with these early season Classics to be the #BestOutsideOfOmaha which means to provide the best fan and student-athlete experience second only to that of the College World Series in Omaha,” said Wooldridge. “It is through partnerships like this, that we are able to set ourselves apart and get closer to reaching that goal each year. We are excited for the future of these events and the future of college baseball as a whole.”

More on D1Baseball D1Baseball is college baseball’s home on the internet. Since its inception in 2003, the site has been the only place to find continuously updated scores, schedules, and standings for every Division I team and conference, making it an indispensable resource for college baseball fans and insiders. In January of 2015, D1Baseball was relaunched as a one-stop shop for college baseball. In addition to the scores and schedules that have long served as the backbone of the site, D1Baseball now provides news, analysis, and commentary from the sport’s most prominent writers: Kendall Rogers, Aaron Fitt, Mark Etheridge, and Eric Sorenson, among others. ESPN’s lead college baseball analyst, former Stanford All-American Kyle Peterson, leads the team. No other college baseball source offers the invaluable data or the unrivaled expertise found here at D1Baseball.
