FRISCO, TX – Peak Events, LLC & The Frisco RoughRiders in collaboration with Nolan Grider are proud to announce Discs At The Diamond Presented by Discmania, a Nolan Grider Event set for August 26th. Discs At The Diamond Presented by Discmania is a one day Disc Golf themed takeover of Riders Field that will consist of a 12 hole course around the concourse, a competition area containing accuracy, putting, and speed contests, and a 6 pin long-distance accuracy competition where individuals will have the opportunity to throw from home plate at 6 prize pins set up throughout the playing surface at Riders Field including a $5,000 cash pin located beyond the outfield wall.
Those who want to play the course for fun will have the opportunity to purchase a ‘Recreation Pass’ or for those who might be a little more competitive, can purchase a ‘Tournament Pass’ and submit their score following their round for a chance to place in the top 3 and win prizes valued at $100+. Adult and youth divisions are available. All participants who purchase either a Recreation or Tournament Pass will receive a free event branded disc, a marker, and a RoughRiders single game ticket to Saturday, September 2nd at Riders Field.
