SAN ANTONIO, TX – Peak Events, LLC, is proud to announce that the 2027 Battle at the Ballpark, a college baseball tournament featuring four prominent NCAA Division I programs, has partnered with Folds of Honor – South Texas as its official philanthropic partner.

The Battle at the Ballpark is scheduled for Feb. 26-28, 2027, at the San Antonio Missions' Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Participating programs include Air Force, Army West Point, Nebraska and Notre Dame.

The partnership unites a tournament featuring two of the nation's service academies with one of the country's leading organizations supporting the families of fallen and disabled military service members and first responders through educational scholarships.

To support Folds of Honor – South Texas, the Battle at the Ballpark will include a silent auction with college baseball memorabilia and other exclusive items. Fans will also be able to contribute through online donation campaigns, on-site QR codes, concession-stand round-up opportunities and other fundraising initiatives throughout the tournament. The event’s donation portal is now open at onecau.se/bab

"Folds of Honor represents everything we believe about the power of sports to bring people together for something bigger than the game itself," said Ryan Holloway, founder and CEO of Peak Events. "Partnering with them for the Battle at the Ballpark gives us an opportunity to honor the families of our nation's fallen and disabled service members while making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve."

Tournament sponsors will support Folds of Honor – South Texas through direct donations and in-venue sponsorship opportunities. Peak Events also plans to recognize scholarship recipients during the tournament, including on-field scholarship presentations.

“We are incredibly honored to partner with Peak Events and the Battle at the Ballpark,” said

Diane Nemecek, Folds of Honor Senior Director of Impact. “Military City USA is home to several military communities and is proudly supported each day by patriots from San Antonio and surrounding areas. We are excited to be part of a weekend filled with patriotism and the great game of baseball. Folds of Honor has provided and continues to provide assistance to scholarship recipients from each institution participating in the weekend lineup.  We look forward to celebrating God, Country, and the great game of baseball in February while building a partnership that will make a lasting impact.”

“We are grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of Folds of Honor while continuing to raise awareness throughout San Antonio and beyond,” said Col. John Nemecek, President of Folds of Honor – South Texas. “The mission of Folds of Honor ensures we honor the sacrifice of those who serve by educating their legacy. It is a privilege to work alongside the Peak Events team for the Battle at the Ballpark as we raise funds to support the families of my brothers and sisters in arms through educational scholarships.”
