LAS VEGAS – Peak Events, LLC, is excited to announce the field for the fourth annual Live Like Lou Las Vegas College Baseball Classic, taking place from March 5-7, 2027. The participating teams include Arizona State, Iowa, LSU, and Oregon State.

“We’re excited to welcome everyone back for the fourth annual Live Like Lou Las Vegas Classic,” said Ryan Holloway, Founder and CEO of Peak Events. “Each year this event continues to grow, and we’re proud to once again bring four of the nation’s premier programs together at the incredible Las Vegas Ballpark. Thanks to outstanding partners like the Las Vegas Aviators and the Live Like Lou Foundation, we’re looking forward to delivering another first-class experience for the teams, fans, and the entire college baseball community.”

The 2027 Live Like Lou Las Vegas Classic will host four top-tier teams over three days of play at Las Vegas Ballpark, which serves as the home of the Athletics’ Triple-A affiliate, the Las Vegas Aviators. The weekend tournament will have two games per day in a round-robin format. The full schedule, including matchups and game times, will be finalized soon.

Arizona State reached the NCAA Lincoln Regional final in 2026, capping a 39-21 campaign, extending the Sun Devils’ nation-best streak of 54 consecutive 30-win seasons. ASU has won five national championships. This will be the program’s first appearance in a Peak Events tournament.

Iowa’s baseball history includes six NCAA tournament berths, half under head coach Rick Heller, the most recent coming in 2023. The Hawkeyes are regular participants in Peak Events tournaments, and faced Oregon State as part of the 2026 Frisco Classic.

LSU won the 2025 Men’s College World Series, the eighth national title in program history during their 20th overall appearance in Omaha. The Tigers have played in Peak Events classics, winning all three. LSU captured the championship belt in the 2023 Round Rock Classic, 2025 Frisco Classic, and 2026 Live Like Lou Jax Classic.

Oregon State advanced to the NCAA Eugene Regional final this season, ending the year at 45-14. The Beavers played in a pair of Peak Events tournaments as part of that season, competing in Round Rock and Frisco. The squad has captured three national championships and reached the Men’s College World Series eight times, playing in Omaha as recently as 2025.
