Peak Events Unveils 2027 Round Rock Classic Teams

ROUND ROCK, TX – Peak Events, LLC, is excited to announce the field for the eighth annual Round Rock Classic presented by Karbach Brewing Company and Go Round Rock, set for Dell Diamond on Feb. 26-28, 2027. The event features Alabama, Louisiana Tech, Texas State, and Texas Tech.
"This is a field that college baseball fans in Round Rock are going to love," said Ryan Holloway, Founder and CEO of Peak Events. "The Crimson Tide, Bulldogs, Bobcats, and Red Raiders each bring serious talent and a winning tradition to the diamond, and we're excited to host the next edition of the Round Rock Classic with teams of this caliber."
The 2027 Round Rock Classic will host four of the country’s top teams over three days of play at Dell Diamond, which serves as the home of the Texas Rangers’ Triple-A affiliate, the Round Rock Express. The weekend tournament will have two games per day in a round-robin format. The full schedule, including matchups and game times, will be finalized soon.

In 2026, Round Rock Express Baseball Club marked its 25th season of professional baseball in Central Texas. The club was founded as a Double-A franchise in 2000 by Ryan Sanders Baseball, a group comprising Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, his sons Reid and Reese, Houston businessman Don Sanders, and his sons, Bret and Brad. After five prosperous seasons as a member of the Double-A Texas League, the Express joined the Triple-A Pacific Coast League in 2005, where the club still currently competes. The Express is the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and calls Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas, home.
